The Original Roast
The Roast That Started a Fire
One open flame. One thin coat of raw Ozark honey. One cup you won't stop thinking about. The Original is a medium roast with a soul — gentle woodsmoke, a whisper of honey on the finish, and a clean, bright body that begs you to slow down and actually taste your coffee. This is the roast that makes people stop and ask, "wait… what is this?"
Tasting Notes
🔥 Toasted oak · Raw honey · Dark chocolate · Dried cherry
Roasted Over Real Fire
We asked a simple question: what if we roasted coffee the way our grandparents cooked — over live fire, with real patience? Months of trial (and a lot of woodsmoke) later, we found the sweet spot. White oak for the cleanest smoke. A steady medium flame to caramelize the sugars without scorching. And that final honey seal? A theory, which required a great deal of practice to perfect, that became our signature — and soon, your morning ritual.
Beans With a Backstory
Every batch begins on a single-origin farm high in the Guatemalan highlands, where volcanic soil and thin mountain air grow a naturally sweet, complex bean. Our direct-trade relationship means farmers are paid fairly and we get first pick of the harvest — then we roast it over open flame in small 5-pound batches. No shortcuts. No warehouse. Just fire and care.
Brew It Your Way
The Original plays beautifully with any method. Pour-over: 1:16 ratio, water just off the boil (200°F). French press: coarse grind, 4-minute steep. Cold brew: 1:8, 16–18 hours. Bonus — the honey seal keeps these beans tasting fresh up to 3 weeks after opening.

Measure
Use 2 tablespoons (14g) per 6oz of water. Adjust to taste.
Heat
